Bubble Witch Saga 2 App
By King.com Ltd
The aim of the game is to match a minimum of three bubbles of the same colour by aiming and firing them at an abundance of bubbles above your head to burst them. Sound easy? The game challenges you by only giving you limited ammunition and setting certain tasks for you rather than simply popping bubbles. In one level for example you must save the animals by freeing them from their bubble enclosures. There’s also a level where you must free a ghost. The catch is, as you fire the bubbles, when they hit they tend to make the entire bubble cluster spin putting an end to any pre-made strategies you had. Love it!
Graphics are very cartoon like with a witch that has the same appeal as a young Samantha Stephens. Didn’t we all just want to be her as kids! Cute characters along the way added a certain appeal, and I believe this is a game that could also be enjoyed by the guys. Perhaps the creators should consider a more masculine themed game with the same concept or even just an option at the very least where you could change characters. A wizard perhaps, dragon or knight that would still fit in with the games environment.
The controls felt very smooth, so smooth in fact that I mistakingly touched that screen at times only to find I had let a bubble go. Watch that. This is a game you can pick up and not tear your hair out if interrupted. Levels tended to not last very long making it easier for me to throw the game down to wipe up that spilt milk or to pull the kids off each other. While the game is free extra lives and moves will cost you through in-app purchasing but the game is certainly more than playable without these.
