Giant Bubbles

Everyone loves bubMW Giant Bubblesbles, and if you can’t find any of the million bubble wands that have come and gone through the house, then not to worry, it’s easy to make some from things around the house.

Bubbles:
To make a good bubble mixture all you need is detergent, water and sugar (or Glycerine) to make them last longer. Normally I use 1 part detergent to 5 parts water but for giant bubbles equal parts is best. Add a couple tablespoons of sugar, mix gently, and refrigerate for 10 minutes.

Blowers:MW Giant Bubbles4
1. Unwind a paperclip and form a loop at one end.
2. For a double-ended blower cut one straw almost all the way through the middle and cut the ends open in a star shape.
3.  For the giant blower use about 90cm string to thread through two straws and tie off.

Using a couple of straws a paperclip and a piece of string you can have loads of bubble fun. You can use just about anything, a plastic bottle cut in half, and old wire coat hanger, get creative!
