Decrease your child’s chocolate intake this Easter and consider replacing some of the kids chocolate with some beautiful keepsakes that will last forever AND still be keeping in the spirit of the season.
This year I am reducing the amount of chocolate my kids receive from the Easter Bunny and replacing it with things that they can continue to enjoy well after Easter.
While I am a lover of all things Chocolate, it am getting tired of the amount of chocolate that sits in our cupboard well after Easter is over. Of course we eat it, but that’s only because it’s there and when Easter is long gone, we are STILL eating eggs!
Chocolate companies are appealing to our material senses by now selling eggs inside pencil cases, soft toys, cups, and much much more. But I’m taking this a step further by putting the focus on the items rather than on the chocolate.
It doesn’t take much chocolate for the kids to be happy, so consider this easter mixing it up and increasing the keepsakes and decreasing the chocolate.
This Easter in our house it will be these beautiful bunnies and chicks that will light up Easter morning along with a sprinkling of chocolate eggs.
