Kids Puzzle Play Primary App
Age Recommendation 4+ years.
Although this app is recommended 4+, it is mostly beneficial to a child a little older, more the 6-7 year old, as it contains material they would be covering at school.
The idea is to match the picture with the correct label. Now this may sound simple enough, but what they have done is taken items that aid in children’s learning about the wider world. For example, teaching kids to identify different types of currency, flags and planets, just to name a few.
The free version gives you flags and flowers to label. Just working on these two is a learning experience worth your child’s time, especially when it comes to identifying the flags. Full version $1.99.
It does not bombard the child with variety, just enough I feel to be able to confidently learn the labels rather than simply working through too many items, taking the child too long to learn and more likely to be ditched.
There is nothing to run into any trouble within this game, so no calling for help should take place. Mummy friendly I call it. The different groups it teaches your child about are flags, flowers, sports, places, currencies, continents, planets and inventors. It would of been nice to see photos instead of drawings to give the child a little more detail, but it still does the job well.
Compatible with iPad. Requires iOS 3.2 or later.
