Making C3PO The Droid Robot

If your kids love Star Wars or simply robots, then they will love this simple easy to make robot or droid made using bits from your recyclables.

You will need a big cereal box and a smaller one. 2 ribbon reels, 4 paper towel rolls, gold paint, sticky tape and a black permanent marker

Sticky tape C3PO together well as shown. You will find once painted and dried that he will need another taping

We used gold paint but yellow will still look great. We only did one coat but you may like to do 2 to get rid of the background on the boxes

When C3PO is super dry, using the permanent marker start to draw C3PO's details. We had a figure close at hand to guide us

The more detail the better. I drew the detail on in pencil, and Will went over it with the marker.
