Math Bingo App

By ABCya.comMath Bingo App
Age Recommendation 6+ years.
Looking for a fun yet easy to use math game for the kids? If so Math Bingo should tick the boxes for you. Throughout the game the child uses bugs to achieve different tasks consisting of math problems chosen by you. You can present your child with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and a mix of problems. You can also select easy, medium or hard difficulty levels, a must for any math application.

With loads of name slots, there’s plenty of room for everyone to play allowing each child to work at their own pace. Children get to choose their own character from a selection of twelve and earn cute bugs along the way as they achieve high scores.

Math Bingo does not provide kids any “objects” to help them work out the equation, it relies on the child using their previously learned number strategies. This is why I would recommend Math Bingo as a game to improve on maths skills rather than learn them.

The game keeps an easily accessible record with high scores displayed on the child’s main page so as they can easily see what they should be working towards.

The games within the app are Math Bingo, where the child must answer the math question correctly to get a bug placed over their square. Here the goal is to get five bugs in a row on your bingo card.

Bingo Bug Bungee, where kids must bungee a bug to get the coins, but faced with obstacle blocks to challenge their thinking.

Math Stack, where numbered blocks fall, kids must answer the math question to make a block disappear. Too many stacked blocks end the game. Then lastly, Math Fling where the child must answer the math question to be given a bug to fling at a disk which earns you points. Very cute, lots of fun and is sure with continued use to speed up your child’s math skills.

Requires iOS 4.3 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Optimised for iPhone 5.
