Teach Me Kindergarten App

The Teach Me Kindergarten App is one of the closest apps I have seen that is actually achievable mathematically for kinder kids. While it is not the most flashy of applications, it simply does what it sets out to do. To provide kids with practice in some basic academic skills at their level.
The game teaches sight words, addition, subtraction and spelling. Parents though can choose for the child to only do one, two, three or all subjects. I love the flow of this app. It moves between the different academic areas helping the child to stay interested, and has a most child friendly interface calling for less “mum I need help” moments.
These guys have also got it together when it comes to correcting wrong answers the child makes. Incorrect answers should be seen as a teaching tool be you in the classroom or in an app. In Teach Me Kindergarten, if the child gets a sight word wrong, the narrator tells them what the word is they have chosen, rather than telling them it’s simply wrong.
Rewards are given throughout the game via stickers and the creation of an aquarium where you can purchase fish and trinkets for your tank. using game coins you have collected for achievements. Parents here can stipulate how many questions they want the child to get correct before receiving a reward, along with many other features you can manipulate to cater to your child’s abilities. Parents can also review the child’s progress by looking into the player details, and plenty of slots means siblings can work at their own pace.
