Paper Ballerinas
A very basic activity that yo
u could use with things lying around the home. Use normal white paper for the bodies, and we used tissue paper for a fuller skirt effect, but use what you can find, even try old wrapping paper! Create with one, two, three or more layers for a fuller tutu.
Make some stencils like these ones for the body and skirt
These make a great addition to your child’s bedroom or a very effective birthday party decoration. At the end of the party, guests can choose a ballerina to take home.

Cut all your layers at once for ease by folding the skirt pieces into a thin triangle shape and cutting a round edge. Cut three different lengths for the layered effect

Unfold, select the layers you desire, fold in half and then into quarters and cut a small section from the top as per the dark line, about 1.5 cms

Cut shapes into the folded sides of the skirts for extra effect if desired

Hang up on a string and use as you wish, my daughter had a whole string of them hanging from her ceiling
